Website needs to meet certain requirements to help customers find and successfully make purchases on your online store:- Make sure your online store website is not a marketplace where other businesses sell their products, such as eBay or Amazon. Offer eligible products which are shippable or downloadable.
- Offer products for a displayed and fixed price.
- Have at least one conventional method of payment such as a credit card, debit card, invoicing, or payment on delivery available during a secure checkout process.
- Make sure customers can buy directly from your website without the need to redirect to another website.
- Disclose purchase conditions for your business, such as return and refund policies.
Your online store must clearly show products with prices, offer returns, accept payments, and include your contact information. Your online store can be self-hosted or hosted on third party apps such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
